massive butterflies the whole time watching her...she looked just like a life size Barbie doll up there...it was crazy to think that was my mum!! I was only there for the prejudging so was preoccupied for the rest of the day waiting to see how she placed. She had already gotten a second in a show yesterday..which is brilliant...and to add to that she won her class!Its great to go and watch something I have never really thought about or been interested in. Hubby and I sat there amased the first few classes, watching men flex and strain themselves trying to out muscle there fellow compeditor. You did great Mum!!! You deserve a nice break from all that now though...it will be nice to see your shiny new trophy!!
The last part of my day was spent taking my gorgeous kids to the beach. We had just finished watching Mum and decided to take a walk on the beach before we left to go home. Hubby stated that he wished there was a beach like this at home we could take the kids...then we realised the is...as Bribie Island were we live sits just off the coast of Caloundra...so has extacly the same sort of beach. So after thanking my grandparents for once again watching the kids (like they mind) we took them to our perfect beash 5 mins drive from home. We had only been there 2 mins when the kids were already saturated and we realised we didnt bring any changes of clothes...or towles..lucky we live only 5 mins away huh.
Its great to see Joseph loving the water, he used to be scared to take a bath!Anyway this is getting a bit long...and probably a bit boring....
